What is Google Vault and how does it work?
Google Vault is a cloud solution for storing, searching, and exporting data of Google Workspace users. Businesses can use it to log and manage corporate data, BI, legal and regulative assets, saving a single go-to version of that data without duplicates.
Google Vault’s functionality
eDiscovery is the foundational technology of the Vault, which is itself based on the EDRM model. With its help, authorized users can search data through custom filters, retain it, and export it for further analyses.
Additionally, Google Vault provides features for access controls (e.g., you can grant access for selected users or groups) and user action audits.

Vault Google is integrated with a vast majority of Google Workspace services, allowing for centralized retaining, search, and export of corporate data. These include:
